Motivating yourself is a whole complicated process that you can make much easier. You don't need youtuber idol who seems so organized and smart and, uh, NO! But some pictures can help. Visit my pinterest board 'studying motivation' for some of them and I'll put few of them here. In that board you can find ideas for taking notes, stundying inspiration and tips and quotes. That's first step. Second step is, of course, cute school suplies. Set them on the table, along with books, coffee/tea/cookies, (laptop, if you need it), whatever makes you happy and makes you wanna work. Maybe that sounds like an imposible feeling, but believe me and try. Important part of studying is sleeping well. Whoever said to you that studying late at night, sleeping a little and studying a lot is an only way to success, they're wrong. But, don't waste time fighting with them. Prove them. So, go to sleep between 10 and 12 pm and sleep more then 6 hours (7h is the best option). Set few alarms but make sure to wake up after first one. What I do is take my phone, sit up, turn on the internet and check messages while I stretch but I never look at my phone longer than 5 minutes (usually around 3 mins). Then I stand up, tie my hair and stretch whole body or do yoga. After that I'm ready for shower and washing my face. When I finish all of that and make the bed I feel refreshed and all awake. That's half of your needed motivation. Third step is to be organized, but for real. Be neat, write nicely, write down everything, make mind maps and something like that. It's important to understand, to know the basis. Fourth step is to be sure you won't be lazy again. Install app like (OFFTIME) or Forest... Set studying time to last 1 hour and break time maximum 10 minutes. Then hour of studying again and do it like that as long as you have time. But, leave time for review. I was also using app Calm because it increases my productivity and also reduces anxiety. Try not to use laptop and internet generally because it's not productive at all. You use it to search for some information or to play music, but 20 minutes later you're still using it and you're on a social media or you're reading comments on youtube video (random thing I catched myself doing...). Try to find different information source (a book like encyclopedia or a smart family member). There's wikipedia app you can use because app OFFTIME lets you choose which apps you can use while studying. Be carefull choosing them!
SET YOUR GOALS
Text above was about effective, motivated studying. But, most important question is WHY SHOULD I STUDY? So, if you actually don't have plans for your life or you want to become something you don't need school for, you don't even need this shit. But if you want to keep your education going and become something, you have to study hard.
Think about country and city you want to live in. Imagine your dream family life. Then, think about your college and master. Do you want to travel and go to college in one country, but live in another? That's what I chose. Write down countries and cities you want to study and work in. Think about that life every day. But think positively- how beautiful is there, how you can find new lifetime friends, how you'll meet new culture...
Think about what you want to be. Do you want to work with papers and numbers and be sure you're rich, or you want to lean on freelancing, working from home and doing what you love all your life? Be careful and do a research about which jobs are paid the most and most wanted in country you want to work in.
Find college that offers what you're looking for, check how much it costs, are there schoolarships you can get, are you qualified and what you need to accomplish before applying. Write that too and make sure your application will be perfect.
Try to find out how perfect your marks need to be (but still work like they need to be the highest)
Make timeline for your future. Write what leads to what. For example my timeline for future is: study - get a good mark - go to GAF - go to AHO - be Norwegian citizen - be interior design freelancer - travel (GAF- Faculty of Civil Engineering and Architecture in Nish, AHO- The Oslo School of Architecture and Design)
