Why would you try to study if you don't even understand what you're saying? 1. Some words in our textbooks are really hard and unknown for our everyday-language. So, mark them, search on the internet and ask someone to 'translate' you and then rewrite sentence in the book with your own that you understand and that you can remember it easier. 2. If you still don't understand the text (happens to me a lot with chemistry), try to find as much more books or online sources, read that text from other perspective, maybe someone explained it better. 3.Draw the situation. Whatever you're learning, draw what's going on. Etc. atoms connecting if you learn chemistry, or army's movements if you learn history, or structure of a volcano if you learn geography and more... Imagine situation. 4. Make a story. Read your rewritten text and look at your drawings. I promise it would be easier to learn.
